Surrey Climate Change Partnership

The Surrey Climate Change Partnership Logo

The Surrey Climate Change Partnership was created in 2008 to coordinate work to build low carbon and more sustainable communities across the County. The SLGA led Member group on climate change was established in November 2009 to provide political leadership for this agenda and to facilitate the delivery of the Surrey Climate Change Strategy. Through a championing role, the members of the Climate Change Partnership will also assist in ensuring the current LAA targets on climate change are achieved.

The Climate Change Partnership works closely with the Surrey Improvement Partnership project, Creating Capacity to Address Climate Change. In conjunction with this project, the Partnership will work to facilitate and develop joint working across Surrey to tackle climate change issues.
