The SLGA comprises the twelve principal Councils in the Surrey County. It has twenty-two Members: eleven County Councillors, and one member from each Borough and District Council. These twenty-two Members are joined by the Chief Executives of the twelve Councils. The Association appoints a Chairman and Vice Chairman at member level and an Honorary Secretary at officer level; all ofwhich are shared between the County Council and the Districts and are rotated on a two year basis.
